Diana came to understand the benefit of massage after receiving her first massage, a life altering session. That session brought fluidity and breath back to her body that had been degrading unnoticeably over the years. The noninvasive simplicity of massage wielded powerful results, improving the quality of her life. Then after suffering a whiplash injury from a car accident, she found it was massage that healed the soft tissue injury. These experiences set her on a path wanting to learn more and understand how massage could produce such dramatic effects.
In 2009 Diana attended the Downeast School of Massage in Waldoboro, Maine learning Swedish and Sports Massage. She has continued her studies by attending workshops from leaders in the field. Dynamic Flexibility from Tim Agnew, Deep Tissue for the Iliopsoas with David Lauterstein and Energy Quest: Cranial Sacral, Quantum Touch, and Polarity with Patricia Corscaden and Jeanne Gaudette. She is currently learning the art of Kinesio-Taping with Michael McGillicuddy, a method that uses a uniquely designed and patented tape for treatment of muscular disorders and lymph edema reduction.
