Hope and Healing in Haiti: A Talk with Dr. Eva Shay

When Tue, February 28, 6pm – 7pm

Where The Mark & Emily Turner Memorial Library ()

Description In 2010, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake hit Haiti.

Since then,according to the Haitian government, an estimated:

• 200,000 have died

• 2 million have gone homeless

• 3 million have needed emergency medical aid

TAMC's Dr. Eva Shay was among many medical professionals who volunteered her time and services to aid the afflicted in Haiti. Hear her story of devastation and healing at Mark & Emily Turner Memorial Library in Presque Isle on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at 6:00 pm.
